Whittaker: Adesanya and Gastelum can fight Yoel Romero

Speaking on GrangeTV in a recent video log, Whittaker encouraged Adesanya and Whittaker to give Yoel Romero a call to see what he’s up to.

“Definitely [Romero is the second best guy in the division],” Whittaker said. “If Adesanya or Gastelum want something to do, fight him. [Laughing] He’s fun. He’s a great fight.”

Whittaker fought Romero in two back-to-back wars at UFC 213 and UFC 225, winning both fights via decision.

As for Whittaker, the reigning champ expects to return to the Octagon ‘sometime between June and August.’
